            Welcome to Mojogato Bengals!!!

I was intrigued by Bengal cats from the first time I ever heard of them. I was enchanted by their glittering, soft coats, beautiful markings and vibrant "purrsonalites"! After finding out all I could about the breed, I finally took the plunge & bought Trucklebed Akasha. She is an aoc snow spotted Bengal. Akasha won my heart at first glance! The sheer luxury of stroking her gossamer soft coat and watching her joyously bound about the house endeared the breed to me for all time. Watching her grow was an utter delight!!!

Although I was convinced that Akasha was utterly perfect, I decided to show her & get a professional opinion. To my delight, she placed very well, including best of breed.  Now I was determined to pass on her great qualities to future generations.

Akasha was bred to Amisar Spartacus when she was 1 year old. Now I know how my husband felt when I was expecting!!! Every move she made was scrutinized by me and I couldn't help but speculate as to what the outcome would be. When  she gave birth to seven beautiful kittens, they grew into stunning examples of the Bengal breed. I have kept one of the males to show. He is now a Champion with TICA, Best of Colour International Winner, a multiple Merit Winner with GCCF & a much loved stud cat. Also here is Frappant Enkil, a gorgeous large brown spotted snow carrier. We have chosen our subsequent queens for their superior bloodlines & strong conformation, including Tejas Lily Langtry & Maharet's Spell. We aim to breed wellboned cats with wild heads, small ears & luxuriant , striking coats.

Joining us in 2005 are several more stunning Bengal cats. Starwinds Lestat is a lovely rosetted boy from Millwood Jag & Starwinds Candlewind. Many thanks to Phil & Adrienne Morgan for this little cracker. We also added a few girls, Frappant Roslin is an exceptional F5 silver spotted girl, & Belladonnakatz Clawdia is another lovely silver spotted female. We have kept two girls back from our own litters, Mojogato Dragon's Jewel, a fabulous seal mink marble from Chip & Lolo, & Mojogato Naomi's Dream, a beautiful brown spotted girl from Chip & Lily with a snow white tummy. We hope they will help to carry on the lines here at Mojogato Bengals.  We also added Frappant Mojogato Indigogo to the herd. Her stunning blue eyes and lovely head will be a lovely addition to the snow program here at Mojogato Bengals. Frappant Saffron has joined us from the Alsoomse program as Donna is concentrating on her Pixie Bobs. Saffron is a rich rufoused girl with a lovely head & white tummy. She is Enkil's half sister, so will be visiting with Lestat in 2006. There will be a very special arrival here at Mojogato Bengals in February 2006. Check the stud page for details.

As my furry family expanded, I have learned a lot about the Bengal breed. It is important to the cats, or any animal, to provide a loving, secure environment for them. I am passionate about my animals, and will only place them in homes where they will be loved and nurtured. I am always available for help and advice. If I don't know the answer to your problem, chances are I can find out the answer for you.

I am a member of the Bengal Cat Club of Great Brittain, one of the largest breed clubs in the UK. Many of the other Bengal breeders in the BCCGB have made me feel very welcome and assisted me in this wonderous journey with my fascinating cats. Having decided to leave the GCCF, BCCGB is having its first TICA show in March 2006 which I will be attending. Click here for details of the club & shows.

During 2005 I became heavily involved with CatTica, the first TICA associated cat club to hold shows in the UK. I am enjoying the TICA way of showing my Bengal cats immensely, and the cats enjoy the interactive show days. I will be manager of my own CatTica show in February here in Derby. For more info go to www.cattica.co.uk

I have made many friends in the Bengal world, and count myself blessed to have the opportunity to work with such lovely people in order to further the stunning Bengal cats here in the UK.

I would like to thank Pat & Collin Carpenter in particular for their invaluable help & advice. We would not be half as knowledgeable without them. I feel confident that our cats will be strong contenders on the show bench in the coming years, and really contribute to the progression of Bengal cats in this country.

I can't recommend Bengal cats highly enough!!! Email me at mojogato2002@yahoo.co.uk with any questions or just to talk about these most fascinating of cats!!!!
